Levels
The surface levels of the various layers of pavement construction should not deviate from the design levels by more than the following:
- Formation +20mm -30mm
- Sub-Base +20mm -20mm
- Road Base (where required) +15mm -15mm
- Pavement Surface, except adjacent to gullies +6mm -6mm
The surface levels of the pavers immediately adjacent to gullies, surface drainage channels and outlets should not deviate from the design level by more than +6mm, -0mm.
The deviation measured on the finished pavement under a 3m straight edge should not exceed 10mm. Preferably the levels of two adjacent pavers should not differ by more than 2mm.
