Stains Caused by External Sources
Organic staining from algae, lichen and moss only occurs where the brickwork is permanently damp and exposed to strong sunlight. Other external sources include airborne and waterborne dirt, oil, paint and chemicals. Stains from external sources are outside the scope of the designer and builder, but all forms care reduced or eliminated by careful attention to detail throughout the construction of the building.
