Brick Blending
This service opens up a whole new range of options for design in brickwork. By breaking up the uniform pattern using bricks from different ranges, an attractive new look can be produced. Bricks can be blended from different colours and textures, but we would advise that you seek our help on what ranges are compatible before attempting it. Better still, ask for a sample of each (say fifty bricks in total) and see how they blend. As in the examples shown here, the blending of two or three ranges can produce a dramatic effect. We will make a charge to mix these before despatch, but you could create this effect by mixing on site without any additional cost. The British Standard says that a bricklayer should blend from three or four packs, even when using a multi-colour brick, therefore he should be capable of blending bricks as he goes without charging you any extra.Blending bricks by using different colours and textures is a technique that has been used for years and can be enhanced by the addition of glazed bricks, textured as well as smooth, for a staggering effect. Blending bricks is an aesthetically pleasing and practical means of giving your brickwork individuality.
